About

I was born in 1985 in Poland, and have moved to the UK in 2005, currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. I studied at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and at Edinburgh College of Art, before graduating with a First Class Honors degree in Photography at Napier University in 2017.
My work is often inspired by social and political issues, with a special focus on feminism, migration, and effects of politics in people’s lives. Enabling the subjects to add their own voice to the conversation is an important part of my practice.
I work  with analogue and digital photography, as well as with video format (I am a freelance videomaker by profession). I was involved with a multi-arts collective Decagram for a few years, and now I am a co-director of WomanBeing, a grassroot initiative that supports sharing of knowledge and good practices for promotion of diversity, representation, women’s rights, and equality.
